Elections in 2010
It's an election year in the US and speculation about which side will "win" is in full swing. Some are worried (or hoping for) a Democrat defeat. With the Republicans winning to the point where they'll win back control of the house and senate!
I don't think it will be so black and white... I feel like most of the public when it comes to our representatives in Washington. Both sides can't get anything done!
Prediction:
After the post election dust has settled, both cambers will be close to being evenly split. I think Democrats will lose in many areas of the country but I also think Republicans will lose as well.
I think the public doesn't like either side! A lot of folks are upset about the healthcare reform which the dems. passed and that will be fresh in voters minds. So to will be the apparent inaction of the Republicans who don't seem to get much done themselves.
All I know is I'm hoping change happens and it happens quick. Politics have become far too emotional and about galvanizing each side against the other. It's no longer about compromise and logically thinking through problems and issues facing our country. More importantly, coming together to fix them!

I swear, I have a nack for knowing what is going to happen in the future. I always find myself making predictions about things to come, and find myself always saying, "I told you so".
No I am not "psychic", I just think I'm good at paying attention to trends and I have a damn good imagination. I honestly think of myself as an amature futurist. So why not put my thoughts down in a public space so I have proof that I know what I'm talking about. When and after things happen.
I don't predict key events, just changes in our world. Eh you'll see.
You're not going to hear any crazy talk about end of the world type of events. Realistic things such as: I think the US will not pull out of Afghanistan in 2011 because.... <--- Those kind of sane logical predictions.
